Understanding the relationship between these two stories has shaped Oreoluwa Asuni's professional journey and ultimately inspired the establishment of Te-Aroha Hospitality Consulting.

Drawing upon a multidisciplinary career spanning law, banking, international business, luxury hospitality, travel and tourism, and executive commercial leadership, she founded Te-Aroha Hospitality Consulting with a clear conviction: Exceptional hospitality businesses are intentionally created through disciplined operational thinking, strategic leadership and purposeful execution.

Following her legal education and early professional career, Oreoluwa completed a Master of Business Administration in the United Kingdom before pursuing specialist hospitality management studies at the Glion Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland. Her international hospitality career began through the prestigious Management Trainee Programme at the Burj Al Arab, Dubai, where she gained first-hand exposure to world-class luxury hospitality standards and operational excellence.

She subsequently held senior commercial leadership positions within the InterContinental brand, contributing to the commercial growth, strategic positioning and market success of one of West Africa's leading internationally branded hotels. Her career later expanded into the travel and tourism sector, where she led business development, strategic partnerships and commercial initiatives, broadening her understanding of the hospitality value chain — from guest experience and commercial performance to long-term operational sustainability.

These experiences culminated in the establishment of Te-Aroha Hospitality Consulting — a boutique hospitality advisory practice founded on the belief that hospitality businesses achieve lasting success when operational excellence is intentionally designed from the very beginning.

Today, Oreoluwa partners with hotel owners, developers, investors and operators to bridge the gap between hospitality vision and operational reality, helping transform ambitious concepts into hospitality businesses that deliver exceptional guest experiences, sustainable commercial performance and enduring operational excellence.
